The Children of Foster Carers

When a person makes the decision to become a Foster Carer, it means the whole family will be involved in the fostering role. Sons and Daughters month is a national campaign, which celebrates the children of Foster Carers.

We want to thank all the children and young people who help their parents with fostering – those who welcome children into their home, share their parents’ time, offer support, become a friend to them, and make a difference.

We’ve been sent a lovely poem from Jacob, aged 10, about what fostering is like for him:
