Welcome to Fosterplus, a nationwide independent fostering agency providing high quality, safe and supportive foster care for children in a family setting. Fosterplus centres the foster care it provides on the best possible outcomes for children and young people and wishes to recruit foster carers to give the children and young people the very best chances. In doing so we pride ourselves in offering great support to our carers.

Fosterplus has been established as a foster care agency since 1996 and has a wealth of experience in providing foster carers for local authorities throughout England and Scotland. In November 2009 we were providing a foster care service for in excess of 250 children across the country.

As with all independent fostering agencies Fosterplus is regulated, in England by Ofsted and in Scotland by the Care Commission. We have received excellent inspection reports for fostering and a number of our offices have achieved "Outstanding". Click here

We know that secure attachment is a major factor against teenage misery. This day will explore the key components of secure attachment and specific relational experiences that promote secure attachment.

The day will include a vital assessment tool which foster carers and professionals can use, namely "The Teenager Well-Being Profile."
